The rates to be charged each billing month of approximately thirty (30) days for natural gas supplied by the Municipal Gas Utility are hereby fixed and determined and shall be as scheduled in the following section.  The unit of measurement shall be one thousand cubic feet and shall be designated MCF.

Natural Gas Rates: Minimum usage is 2 MCF per month. The cost will fluctuate due to the cost of gas fluctuations and will be established or updated periodically by the motion or resolution of the governing body.

For all natural gas furnished by the Sylvia Municipal Gas Utility at meters located outside the City limits, the rates to be charged shall be 1.10 times the rates charged for consumers with meters located within the City limits.
